•  Educate  residents on home efficiency and environmentally safe landscape practices

• Acquire related state and federal grants and participate in County and State programs

Create more opportunities for resident involvement 

• Survey the needs of the community to identify underserved residents

• Increase access to town meetings encouraging community participation and civic engagement

• Build closer relationships between the community and the police department to foster trust and improve town safety 

Leverage all State, County and local elected and volunteer entities to better serve Little Silver. 

• Ensure good faith community dialogue in advance of the creation of new town ordinances

• Anticipate changes in surrounding towns to inform municipal planning

• Educate residents about the town’s relationship with the County government 

• Create a more thorough accounting of the Freeholders’ influence on local affairs.

• Build alliances which increase collaboration among all Little Silver committees/commissions
